Donna's been digging up pictures of the coast of Georgia for me for much of the evening so I can get a good visualization. :D I've lived in the south 6 years now, but I've yet to venture out of the Birmingham metro area except for the rare trip to Atlanta.

I'm more a doom and gloom predictor - like right now I'm panicking about the economy. (Digging hole in sand to bury head...)

Actually, I think Jekyll Island is where she was downloading pictures of for me! I'll have to ask later today. :D
We actually took our first step by booking a cabin for both of our families in Gatlinberg for April. At least I'm going to get to see the mountains. I've climbed the first mountain in the Appalachians (Mt. Katahdin) but I've never been down on this end.
And yes, we are almost done. We may finish that thing yet!
