It's official!
I have been dying to share this cover. It's for my June release, Memories of Us.
All I have to say, other than Anne Cain is a goddess, is yuuuuuuum!

WOW! Linda, I LOVE the direction the Hearts of the South covers are going in! I really love when things go together well like that, and they are just gorgeous. The colors, the pictures...
And now that I have a brand new KINDLE it's time to go buy that new release to put on it. :D Hold On To Me was one of the first things I transfered over, and I put Truth and Consequences on it as well, so I'll finally get to read it without sitting at the computer all day!
Congrats on the gorgeous cover!

What a steamy cover! I jumped over to Samhain to read the blurb, and discovered that the anticipated release date is my birthday! What a nice present I'll get myself. Thanks Linda!
Gorgeous cover. I have to know how in the world you manage to get those books out so regularly. I truly envy you, Linda, almost as much as I enjoy your books. Six books in less than 18 months. Wow!
Moira, you have a KINDLE?! I'm so jealous.
I was thrilled when I saw this cover because it was so clearly linked to Anything But Mine. I cannot wait to see what they do with A Formal Feeling!
I hope you like Truth. :-D
Oh, Esther, that is so cool! Your birthday, huh? Neat.
And this is my steamiest cover yet. I love it, too!
Marie-Nicole, the secret is . . .
Writing for ten years before selling anything. So when I did sell, I had several projects that were already finished and Samhain contracted those as well.
I'm pretty disciplined as a writer (well, I'm pretty discplined as everything -- I teach, go to grad school and write, plus I have two kids). I make myself put the butt in the chair for some writing time daily, whether it's editing, drafting, etc. That lets me write two rough drafts a year. (What I wrote in the last six months is not contracted anywhere yet -- one is too rough right now and needs revisions before anyone sees it; the other is making agent rounds -- that should be fun!).
Another fantastic cover, Lin! I love they way they're branding you with this series. They're just gorgeous!
Beautiful, Lin. I love it!
Thanks, Linda. I'm glad to know I'm not a total slaggard. I'm a retired empty nester, for now. I guess I'm going to have to give up my soaps. Y'think?
From 2004 to 2006 was a wash for writing. My day job was killing my mind and my spirit. Things have picked up since I retired Oct 21, 2006. That was the same day I came home and found my first contract offer from Samhain. Had to be an omen!
Beautiful cover, Linda!
Hey, Jaye! I love how these covers are branding, too. I hope my September release has the same look.
Thanks, Eli and Lexi -- I love it, too!
Mary-Nicole, you are not a slaggard! And yeah, I can see that selling to Samhain could be a good omen -- I've loved working with them.
Yes, I got a Kindle! It is really just as amazing as advertised. I absolutely LOVE it. Reading it is like reading a book, the screen is gorgeous, turning pages is easy...but I can keep SO MUCH STUFF on there!
And I got my copy of Anything But Mine! :D Even in black & white, the cover looks awesome on the Kindle.
