Question

Hey, y'all, need a quick favor.

I'm trying to pull together a sampling of my work. If you've read one of my titles, what scenes would you, the reader, include in that sampling? You know, the scenes that are "evocative" of a Linda Winfree read.

Feel free to leave ideas in the comments section or you can email me at linda_winfree @ yahoo.com (no spaces).

Um, please feel free to leave ideas in the comments section, LOL.

LOL, now how did I *know* you'd bring that one up?

I've already printed that one. ;-)

Eli has the right idea.

Damn, there's just so many...

I like the scene in WMM (Ch. 5?) where John is in the van and Burnett talks to him about the kidnapping and the choice that can't be made. Talk about a no-win situation!

You gotta have a gritty crime scene one. What about MOU, when they find Jessica?

I can think of a couple of scenes from HOL (acronyms galore!) The first one where Del and Barbara share a bed in his Mom's house and he wakes up all achy and numb from snuggling, but wouldn't have it any other way. Or the scene with Del and his daughters sunbathing and how he's trying to wrestle with how much they've grown.

You do such a great job with sharing your character's emotions.

If you want to make 'em cry, give them Stanton and Claire...
